Exciting New Updates to Hopsy: Elevating Your Hospitality Management Experience

At Hopsy, we are committed to constantly enhancing your experience with our platform. Thanks to your invaluable feedback, we've rolled out a series of new features and improvements during August 2024 designed to streamline your operations and make managing your hospitality business even more efficient.

Here’s what’s new this month:

Introducing New Features

  • Certificates
    Navigating statutory and regulatory compliance can be daunting, but Hopsy's new Certificates feature simplifies the process. Our intuitive dashboard allows you to manage all your compliance documentation with ease, ensuring that you're always up-to-date and audit-ready.  Watch our certificates tutorial

  • Private Audits
    We understand the importance of privacy in managing audits. With our new Private Audits feature, company users can now build and conduct audit templates internally, without the need to share reports with individual venues. This keeps sensitive information secure while maintaining thorough audit practices.

  • Venue Audits
    Empower your venue managers with the ability to conduct their own audits. The new Venue Audits feature enables venue users to independently perform audits at the venue level, allowing for more localised control and accountability.

Upgrades & Improvements

  • Improved Sickness Logging

Keeping track of staff health is crucial for smooth operations. With our enhanced Sickness Logging, venue management can now easily view any logged sickness directly on the clock-in screen and the rota.

  • Enhanced 'Meetings' Index for Venue Management

We've upgraded the Meetings index to provide venue managers with a much more comprehensive and organised list of all meetings held. This improvement makes it easier to track meetings that might not be reviewed, along with actions still outstanding for each meeting.

  • ‘Adding Company Staff’ Upgrades

Improved workflow and user experience for ‘company users’ when adding new staff.

  • Increased action character count

You can now add a larger description for an ‘Action’ with 2000 characters available to use.

  • Venue profile page ‘Start Meeting’ button

Company users can now start a meeting from any venue profile page.

  • Removed ‘Score Expansion’ for company users

An improved workflow lets company users access a venue’s profile page in a single click from their venue tab.

  • Extend rota finish times

Rota users are now able to add shift times that run past 5am.

  • Venue profile page ‘Staff’ tab

Installed a staff tab and the ability for company users to manage staff from any venue profile page.

  • Venue Visits upgrades on venue profile page

Add the ability to start a venue visit from the venue profile page.

  • Audit question number upgrades

Improved the user experience with audit question numbers - These are now aligned across the audit configurator and audit completion screens.
